What's For Lunch? Fifty Seven

Secret Recipe in Tropicana Mall have this uber cool idea of turning one of their outlet dedicated for vegetarians. The SC beyond veggie resto's menu is full of italian and asian delight in vegan. I had the shitake filled aroma rice with satay and the oriental herbal mushroom fest soup. Will definately come again!

What's For Lunch? Fifty Six

What started off as just coffee and sweat treats end up as a food fiesta. Magherita Pizza, assortment of chocolate banana bun, apple slice, cinnamon roll, cheese stick, raisin scone, french toast, mushroom soup, pasta and a whole lot more. Add in nice cafe latte and a beautiful ambience, Levain at Jalan Delima (at the back of Indonesian Embassy) is THE place to go!!

Celebrated my colleagues birthday as well =)

Sugarikhness: Caramel Cheese Cream Raisin Bun

Wow, that was a mouthful to mention. A must try from a sugar addict (me!) to all of you, Bonjour Garden's Raisin Bun. They are at OU, Level 2 within the compound of I-Setan. Most the pastries are really nice and fluffy but this one is by far the best beyond the valley of other cream cheese raisin bun out there, even the one at Loaf.

Charms Cafe at OU, Level 2 for some hearty, affordable asian food.

They welcome diners with free Cucur Bawang which was so crunchy and delicious. I had vegetarian fried yee mee that was tasty after several pour of kicap cili potong and Faez had their signature Lamb Charmers (should have been Lamb Mountain as they were plenty of lambs!). Those stack of lambs for merely 20 bucks is very VERY cheap!.

ARRating - 4/5

Melaka-ba-boom!

Amazing what a day can be achieved. A day in melaka got us all of these fun-sss.
In a day, we managed (and ate):
1. 2 packets of nasi lemak before we even start at cafe.
2. 12 bucks of posing with cheap dinosours (but hey, the best pictures came from this place) at A Famosa
3. Water fun and pool dancing at the water park
4. Ride with Diana the elephant
5. Enhancing our "rempit" skills with ATV!
6. Coconut shake!
7. 2 more packest of nasi lemak with those shakes
8. Raddish cake, mini egg tart, cheap popiah,  durian pancake, herbal tea and cheap lense-less glasses at Jongkers!
9. Toilet breaks and karoake breakdown at Casa Del Rio
10. Seafood galore at Sg. Duyung!!

Oh yes, Saturday worth a lot more thanks to this trip!

What's For Dinner Sixty Three

Dinner was served at UNO. Yes, this was first seeing that the shop has been in Taipan for ages.
The olio, by far is the best I've tasted. Towards the end i find myself cleaning up the plate by just finishing the garlic slices in the plate. It was good! We had as well Margherita Pizza (good as well), Affogato and Special's Tiramisu. It was good but the theme of the place seem confused to me - Italian? Spanish? German? Mexican?

I am a fan of Japanese food and dinner was at Kiku Zakura, Midvalley. I love those small place, quiet ambience with old japanese song playing in the background, kimono ladies serving youy two type of feel. We had practically just rice with beef - Gyuniku Shogayaki served with the side of miso soup and salad. As well as Yasai Maki & Somen which is just cold noodle served with vege sushi roll. Dessert was Ice Cream Tsuki Banana Tempura. I'd prefere Mdm Kwan's Banana Fritters.

Dinner was at my SS15's K3K just next to Darus. I love coming here years back and their menu is still the same. You should definitely try their famous set of Kaya Butter Bakar set. The Rojak and Golden Crispy Chicken is nice as well.
