Artist of The Week: Firehorse

Firehorse, voted artist to watch for 2012 released their forthcoming album, And So They Ran Faster.
The lead singer has a voice of Bjork meets Zola with a daunting alternative rock music.

I love the slow and ghostly pitch in She's a river and My Left Eye. It truly captures her smooth vocal complementing that balance of guitar/drum and base. The only commercial song in this album would Machete Gang Holiday, an upbeat indian theme that stays in your head. Young and Puppet ventures through the calmer tone of Firehorse. It's a pretty cool album!
