Artist of The Week: Ingrid Michaelson

Ingrid returns with her latest 5th album, Human Again. Her music style's definitely change with this one as this much more heavier, music and lyric wise. To put in simple comparisson, before it was glitzsy cute Sara Barailes guitar tracks now she is more serious. Track such as the first, Ghost proves just that.

Fire, Palm Of Your Hand, Ghost totally makes her unnoticable. It's heavier rock-ish pop with heavy guitar/drum's beat. Do It Now, proves to be more pop than folk. You can hear a little of old Ingrid from This Is War, How We Love and Ribbons . I love the upbeat track of In The Sea, Blood Brothers, Black & Blue. I'm Through is such beautiful sad song that can really move you. Human again is definitely a step forward than the days of "the way i am" and "be ok", it's deeper. Kudos!
