Kpoppies Update: 2pm

They finally released their 2nd album, to accompany their hits, Without You and I'll Be Back. I was waiting for a party track from 2pm cause the last two they had was a downer. The thing about JYP productions is that it is too catchy. In another term, it's too western. That's not a bad thing but at times, their tracks can be boring. Big Bang is heading to that area as well but they know how to make it interesting. Hands up is a cool track, very catchy but after a few spin, it became too catchy.

To me Kpop shouldn't be catchy. It should stays funky, loud and all over the place. I love the fact that korean pop music do not stick to one sound in a track, various verses and the rap that they put in gives it a little edge. Hands up is pretty safe to me. I love electricity, that's to me has an interesting sound to it. Give it to me is also a decent track. As for the rest, it's pretty boring.
