Ahoy! You Ghost!

I expected an epic sequel. On Strange Tides was a yawnful. The plot makes no sense. Characters were made up unnecessarily like the Spaniards. And can I just say, i hate Penelope Cruz. Her accent is weird. One thing that is cool in this flick are the mermaids. They're fierce and completely different than what you would have expected. Even Jack Sparrow's lame lines couldn't save0 this movie. 2/5

Insidious is new horror flick from the same guy who brought you Saw. People, this movie is funny, twisted and sick at the same time. It's not your typical spooky flicks. At first, it was a little bit like Paranormal Activities, then it moves up to can I say, Ghostbusters? haha. The whole projection to hell sort of a cool idea. But the ghost are just too funny looking for me to take it seriously. Puppets? hah. Either way, good effort. 3/5
