Artist of The Week: Asa

If you're fan of Corrine Bailey Rae, then you'll love Asa. She's that type of voice but with bluesy jazzy tunes into it. Her debut Beautiful Imperfection is finally out (been waiting for awhile now) and it is beautiful!

Not many artist can create the setting for you to smile, giggle, chuckle, daydream and look at the world differently as you walk past by the crowd looking at the scenery while listening to their songs. She did just that. Her songs are so uplifting. Even when the lyric are suppose to be sad, the tune is still easy to listen to. I love Be My Man, Ok Ok, Maybe, and of course soon to release 2nd single Why Cant We. Why cant we is such a positive song. Something I should listen to. Her french nigerian track such as Bimpe' is also good.

Worth a spin. I guess its calles beautiful imperfection for reason. So that you would feel beautiful listening to the songs even when you're imperfect. Go Asa!
