Artist of The Week: Jónsi

The frontman of the well known icelandic band, Sigur Ros - Jonsi released his debut this year with Go. The first single Go Do receives major airplay in UK and his album peaked at 22 on Billboard. I first heard this when i was youtubing Jack Penate's vids and was at qucikly at joy. His album is amazing. The right word for it would be beautiful.

I love sinking friendship and st. naive, to me these two tracks are just mind blowingly beautiful. It's like he is singing to the nature and telling us the story. I am starting to dig musicians from Iceland. Him, Soley & Sin Fang Bous to name a few. They reallly take you to a journey, seriously - music that makes you smile.
