Artist of The Week: Imany

I am in love. The next best thing from Corrine Bailey Rae's absence was me coming across a beautiful singer, Imany. The thing i like about her so much is how clear she sings her words. The Shape of A broken heart (which pretty much tells you the theme for the album) is packed string of beutiful tracks in which Imany pretty much say it has it is. She doesn't go around the bush on how hurt she is, she just say that she's hurt.

Depressing, yes but at times in healing, you need a good pity songs to make you look back on your life, as it rains outside yada yada - well, Imany's debut has that swift. Please and Change is her second single and I love the beat in this! THIS is the words I wish to share of those who think they have seriously "change". So damn catchy - love.

My other favs would be the Grey Monday which a slow start but builds up quickly to chorus. I love that, to me that's interesting arrangement right there. Pray for help and  Take Care is a sweet ballad that you'll fall in love with after listening. Imany, you have a fan.
