Artist of The Week: First Aid Kit

Drunken Trees was a great debut for these ladies, but they're back with anticipated, The Lion's Roar. It is definitely more mellow and folk-sy compared to their sweet debut. At some point, they sounded like Joy Williams meets Agnes Obel.

First single, The Lion's Roar puts up a clear message how the album will sound like. I think of the most beautiful lyrics in this album has to come from Emmylou, you can't help but blush. "I'll Be your Emmylou, I'll be your June. If you'll be gram and my Johhny too" - genius. Other tracks that I love as well are Blue, To a Poet and definitely King of The world.
