Artist of The Week: Emeli Sande

I've been obsessed with this Brit lad for months now ever since her featured with Professor Green. I've featured three of her hit singles and constant replays on my ipod here as well. It makes perfect sense why Our Version Of Events marks a platinum debut in UK.

Aside from the three hits, I have a feeling My Kind Of Love will be her fourth. It's so catchy and one of the songs that makes you go "aww" comes the chorus. Clown and River features insane genius lyrics and i have a feeling they are addressed to her haters. I love the fact that she has a husky voice much like Chrissette Michele but more soulful. Thought that based on Next To Me, this will a heavy gospel R&B album like how CM does it but it proves to the opposite, light and easy. Tracks like Hope and Where I Sleep is slow good. My favorite among all has to be Suitcase! - LOVE the lyric. Have a listen.
