Artist of The Week: Vivian Girls

Vivian Girls is one of the unique band out there as their music comes heavily from the strong influences of pop rock in the late 80's. Even their look and feel follows that year of music. They reminded me so much of The Like with a lower pitch as their are more of pop.

In Share of Joy, tracks such as the Other Girls, I Heard You Say and Sixteen Ways are heavy on guitar/drums while tracks such as Dance (If You Wanna) and Take it As It Comes (so cute!) plays around the catchy beat from start to end. However, tracks such as Lake House and Try To Pretend isn't much of a spin because they tend to be too noisy.

Follow them on twitter and like them as well on FB.
