Artist of The Week: Jarle Bernhoft

This Norwegian soul singer is my choice for this week. His new album, Solidarity Breaks is a must spin! He has a voice and swagger cross of Simon Curtis meets Wouter Hamel.

The first single, Choices is a sweet catchy upbeat track that'll definitely create interest for you to listen to the whole album. I love how certain tracks he goes Michael bubble-ish such as Sing hello and Some More, while at times he just let loose with his guitar like in Good Intentions and A Bad Place To Reside and at few tracks, the beats are sick - a mix of electronic and soul. Track such as Control, Cmon Talk  and Prophet are one of a kind.

The rest, he infuses beatiful melody such as Space in My Heart.
