Artist of The Week: Zola Jesus

I actually have been listening to her for awhile now. I love her in both Stridulum and she's back with Conatus. I love this type of genre, a mix of folk, dark psychedelic twist of electronica. Zola adds goth into those elements. She's like a cross of Lykke Li and Kate Havenivick.

In this album, Vessel is a sure stand out but my favorite is Avalanche, Shivers and Skin. Other might not find this type of music entertaining to say the least but it is very deep and somewhat calming. A good run when you're having a migrain.
