Artist of The Week: Gotye

I've posted a single from this singer that I am currently obsessed with before, Somebody I Used To Know recently. Gotye's new album, Making Mirrors takes you into a journey of various field of emotions with interesting beats playing along. I love how the album started off as songs with heavy usage of the guitar such as Eyes Wide Open, Easy Way Out and then moves to a Cee-Lo-ish mix of I Feel Better and In Your Light. The album ended of with few songs that are much more darker, which reminded me so much of James Blake especially in State of Art. The tracks individually might take a while for you to remember but the album as a whole is beautiful.
