Lovestrong

Besides her ever so popular Jar Of Hearts, Perri has other similar decent singles in her debut album, Lovestrong. If you're expecting rock heavy songs based on her image, then you are deceived. She sings mostly about heartbreaks, love and more pain. Just my cup of tea.

The album open up to Bluebird. So beautiful, reminded me of Laura Jensen. I like the part when she sang "how the hell does a broken heart, get back together when it's torn apart?" The intro along with the piano alone, moves you. Second is Arms, another slow songs but with much upbeat tempo. I like the part when she kept saying " u put your arms around me and I believe it's easier to let go". Other slow deep songs are distance, miles, the lonely and tradegy. The only catchy upbeat track is Bang Bang Bang which might as well be her next single as it is more commercial. To me, all tracks are beautiful.
