Artist of The Week: Jamie Woon

I'm digging this mix of soul and dubstep music. Brit has plenty of this from Erik Hassle to Katy B. He reminds me a lot of James Blake. The music is a tad similar and so is the song - it's just with Woon, he added a touch of soul to blend in with that electronic tunes. I think all this J's should consider changing their name to other alphabet. It's getting pretty confusing.

In his debut album, I love the second single - Lady Luck. It is catchy. Worth a spin is also Street, Shoulda, Spirits, TMRW and Gravity. I like singers who don't overdo their songs, keeping it plain and single. And I like a well construct music that all tracks has the same theme. This one has. Hint hint Beyonce.

James Blake is better but Woon is different. You'll know that if you give Mirrorwriting a full spin, or maybe a couple more.
