Artist of The Week: Alexis Jordan

I'm sure you've seen her before, she was the one featured in MTV Push. Actually her first single, Happiness has been on UK Charts for awhile now. She is more known in UK than in the US. When I first heard the song, I like it instanly. She is like a cross of Kylie Minogue & Alexandra Burke with a stronger tone of Rihanna. I like dance synthpop songs and Happiness as well as Good Girl features just that.

Expecting the same sort genre from her self titled debut album, two days after listening to it - I'm not impressed. The two singles is a stand out but the rest of the track reminds me so much of Jordin Sparks' debut. I like Say That,  Hush Hush and  The Air That I Breath.  But it is not something I'm excited to repeat to. After constantly playing for two days, still no difference. I find myself repeating the two hit singles more.

I guess for a debut, it's an alright album. She just need to figure out which style to go for, cause I really like her in first single.
