I Am Number 4
You know for a movie that is so hyped about, it sure gives nothing to cheer for. No wonder there were much publicity stunts from the cast, especially the relationship between Alex Pettyfer and Dianna Agron. Notice how they quickly split once the promotion is over? Ah, Hollywood.
The plot started off slow, and has that Twilight feel into it (Outsider fell in love with a girl, SO quickly). Then after awhile all other seen-before scenes from other movies started making it's way making the movie somewhat a cliche. The monologue sounded off like the one in Transformer. And maybe because Alex is the main actor, I keep seeing Alex Rider on his sequel. When his dog starts changing to whatever creepy animal, that just blew it - Narnia. haha. I was actually laughing through the movie. And the romantic scene (hardly) was just a filler as it seems inappropriate, out of place and lack of chemistry between the two. And the editing is the worst. I feel like they were focusing more on promoting their soundtrack, as one scene makes no sense but the background song sure is loud. Thank god for Adele and The XX. Good pick.
And Mr Alex in the movie looks like he desperately could use a shower. Bad. Let's just skip to I am number 9 shall we?
