Artist of The Week: The Verses

Here is the verses, Australian duo that sings country pop melodies. It's actually brother and sister act, Ella and Jesse Hooper. I love their debut album, Seasons (which actually released August last year). It is very simple, breezy and yet poetic. It has uplifting beats but actually oozes sadness at the same time (yes, i dig emo songs). Want everything (first clip) was their lead single, followed by Running Away (second clip). My favorite would be Never Knew. I love Ella's voice because in some tracks she sounded like Gwen Stefani back in her No Doubt era such as through the track called Teeth. Other good tracks are Still Come Around, Settle Down, Let You (W)in and Midnight. Have a listen to Seasons, support The Verses.
