Here's why i find it hard to believe in HOPE anymore, especially when it comes to love. The word itself just give me goosebumps, cringe. Let's just analyze how stupid these words are, thus making us more stupid to even come close to believing them.
1. I'll be there for you, I'm here when you need me
That's just what they say when they want to switch up the mood to what they had in mind. Too serious to even care, fine just settle with this words - problem solved, next. See, nobody actually will be there for you. And the needing part is just a far stretch. At the end when you actually do want to need, that person will be long gone. If they're not, good for you, for now.
2. I can't stop thinking about you. You're always on my mind.
See, people fail to differentiate the differences between the excitement they felt to actual love. This is just what they feel then, but we all know people can easily change. When they're excited, they lash out all this beautiful words that eventually fall flat later on. So when they say you're on their mind, forget it and bear that in your mind instead.
3. I'll never leave you, we will make it work.
Ha! nuff said.
4. I promise
Burp. Excuse me.
5. It's all in God's hands. It's fate.
Oh, it was destiny at first then fate comes crashing by all of a sudden? wow. This is the most cheesiest, safe answer I've heard. Yes, God has our life planned, but it's really up to us whether we want to execute them or not. If you tried hard enough, then you won't be pointing fingers to fate. And all of the sudden, when this words uttered, number 1 doesn't make that much sense anymore, isn't it? lol.
5. It's part of life, we make mistakes and learn from it.
And another safe answer. A quick exit to anything is simply just saying this words, sure enough, you'll feel fine. I mean, you are after all learning. Not. Why can't people, apologize, own up to what they did, stop blaming fate or what not, try again and make it work. Unless people, they want out long time ago.
So HOPE means opening up my fragile heart to believe to these such words. And what is the lesson from all of this. NEVER actually settle for these words, they'll bite you back later on. Just go with the flow and expect nothing.
Sorry, I had enough.
